Bonham's Irish Art Sale

©London News pictures. 07.02.2011. Penny Day, Head of Irish Art at Bonhams, looks at a painting by Erskine Nichol entitled 'Kept In' expected to fetch Estimate: £30,000 - 40,000. Irish Art on display at Boham's today (07/02/11) ahead of its sale. Highlights include a portrait of Francis Bacon, one of Britain's leading 20th century artists, painted by one of his friends, Louis Le Brocquy. The watercolour, titled Image of Francis Bacon No 18, is estimated to sell for £60,000 to £80,000. The sale is held on February 8th. Bonhams, 101 New Bond Street, London, UK..
