22/05/2010..Breakthrough Booby Birds parachute jump raises a quarter of a million pounds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer...Breakthrough Booby Birds are a rare breed of high achieving women who dare to fly high, skydive and ultimately help save lives. Each member of the team has pledged to raise £20,000 and take part in a tandem sky dive. ..Participants in the campaign include Executive Director of Fashion and homeware at Marks & Spencer Kate Bostock, Fashion and Beauty Director of Harrods Marigay McKee, SKY TV presenter Caroline Feraday and successful business women from Deloitte, Price Waterhouse Coopers and SKY to name a few...Chairman of Breakthrough Breast Cancer Stephanie Monk says:.."We are delighted with the amount of money that has so far been raised by this incredible group of women. They have shown real dedication and support for the charity and their hard work will allow us to fund five scientists at the Breakthrough Research Centre. I am incredibly proud of each of them, and to be jumping alongside them!"
